help with widgets and gadgets

click on get widget and copy paste what you see based on the color. You are using blogger so no need to go to wordpress section.

Thanks for ur prompt reply and i spent a lot of time trying to do as it said but was not successful in my attempt probably because the sites u have mentioned gives procedure when a classic template is used and not the new one.Can u suggest something else ...please...a video tutorial perhaps...

Finally i could do it and can't tell you how thrilled i am about the pasting of my  badges.It was a swell aha moment for someone like me who is so poor in compu apllications. Needed to thank you for ur help rendered so promptly. 

Hi Shivani, I think I just replied to a similar discussion.

Actually it is much simpler than going to edit your template or stuff.

You can instead use a Javascript/html gadget in blogger.

Go to settings> page elements>gadgets>script/html> add your code into it.

That is it. Now go to your homepage and check.
