@Naveen - Mamak stalls are eateries open 24/7. Cheaper way of watching football on big screen but nevertheless merrier...
Was almost same 4 me too, but Messi & argentina had a slight upper hand in my mind :D But then those 4 goals made me hate Germany
Oh..appadiya..wokies! i never paid anything to watch it there, i just kept on walking n stopped by at pubs n watched it for 10-15 minutes n went on to the next one :P

@Naveen - It is only expensive if you have meals/drinks in these pubs . Mamak stalls you can afford to have meals while watch the matches. Well, hope to see you more in Malaysia
I didn't have much of Ringgits exchanged, and since i was going to meet appa n amma in few hours, didn't buy any drinks The food there is awesome. Here a local indian restaurant is as expensive as a 5 star n it was a relief in KL! :D
Yeah..even i hope to make it, not as a transit passenger, but as a full time traveler Anyways..will transit again in less than a year :D

Air Asia is cheap u know right? So the cheap beings like us love traveling by it, from China to KL n then KL to Cochin :P
@Naveen - I am an ardent backpack traveller of Air Asia. Everyone can fly now!!
But trust me, its no fun to wait in an airport for 17 hours!! its nice to fly out and in, if ur a Malaysian, but transits with 12-18 hours gaps..they make u insane..! walking around the city is tiring too..
@Naveen - Backpacking comes with a price and so are low-carriers. It's insane to wait that long, but doing some homework of the transit place helps
Haa..thats true!! But u know what? Air China had almost same rates as Air Asia for a direct flight.. from B'lore to Shanghai..

@Naveen and Mag - What I meant was, my Tamil vocab is very limited, otherwise I could still speak it but one might find alot of flaws in the pronounciation.
Mag, u can easily learn it..watch movies with sub titles n they don't bore u for sure!! Awesome movies south indian languages make...telugu..tamil & malayalam..haven't tried kannada ones though!
Mag..try others too, in the days of Endhiran & Rajini..it won't b a bad experience
@naveen and others: For masala movies like Shivaji, Kanthaswamy ... one doesn't need subtitles at all :) ... it was fun to watch them... waiting to see robot .. but in tamil :)
@Mag - Agree with Naveen and Vanathi, these days Tamil movies are easily understood. I learnt to speak Tamil watching movies and listening to the songs. Masala movies are the best for this, they keep you out of boredom
Oh BTW people, I watched Endiran first show last nite and it was fantastic!! Worth the time and money
I wanna watch it in theatre too .. and i heard its releasing in China too..but not to be i am sure!!

yeah..final year...chinese..yeah..a bit..nothing near to good, but i can manage. job scenarios r pretty tight...not the easiest thing for a foreigner to get a job as an engineer here, but if u r an English teacher, u can b a millionaire in short time from China

Vanathi..lol...i recently heard of a job offer. They pay the english teacher 25,000 Yuan per month and the contract is for 6 months! The place can be one of the coldest in world & you gotta work from 10 Am - 9 PM. Free air tickets to your place once a month n full stay, accomodation n food, they pay! You earn Rs 10,05,000 in 6 months for teaching common english, and they might give you an increment after initial months if u impress them!

@Naveen..u talking about wait in airports... have u watched the movie Terminal?? I did that..but yea for one day and 2 nights at the Istanbul airport... was in transit.. bugged those people..and finally got VIP lounge.. $500 compensation..business class ticket..so thats teh different story
U had to wait a day n 2 nights in an airport? or was it the story line? What ever be the lounge and how so ever the compensation, it is terrible na? I haven't watched it yet..
