my younger son, is giving 12th exams , with eng, comp.science,mathematics,fine arts, geog,psycho,

expected markds above 95%, cn u suggest beststream fr him. any idea of scope of actuarial sciences 

i saw in your bios u had been an edu. counselor,.

I am not an expert Promod.. but let me tell you one thing, ask your son what he wishes to do.. see if he has the confidence that he can do it or not.. if support him to gain that confidence.. Avionics can be a very strong field, so will be Actuarial sciences... but the real challenge is his caliber..

there is nothing to do with the percentages, trust me.. with a percentage, one can only gauge how good he can study a subject... i have my own example for me to believe that.. scoring 95% doesnt make sense when you need a minimum of 50% to sit for any entrance exams in India... what yuo need to do is to score the most in that entrance exams and concentrate on those studies.. its only to ensure you get into a good collage that endorses his interests and develops him to follow his liking... 

As again, I am not an expert but hope my view helps..

Ah that is great! Just one suggestion.. though i am still a lot lot lot young to you, but felt like saying... dont push kids to something that he /she doesnt wish to do.. my parents refrained from doing it and they now are happy that I am doing good in the field i choose for myself...

you r right hemal, i have two sons. and i did try to push eldor one to eng. but saw the mistake n let him do his liking, n now he will be completing masters msis course from kelly next year.

so all experiments done on eldor one now younger is choosing his field. Only I act in is to put before him the possibilities.

@Shri- CNY is 2 days celebration and it's a National Public Holidays here for both days. Although celebrated by the Chinese but others take advantage of visiting them or go for holidays!

Must be a lot of fun.. all that celebrations and all, aint it? And 2 days' celebrations with the weekend near.. too good!!!!

Ya, too many public holidays here to caters for the multi racial community!
