How to convert my blog from a wordpress.com to a wordpress.org
Would it be advisable to convert my existing wordpress.com blog to a wordpress.org blog or should I just start a new one altogether. In wordpress.org they do provide a few suggestions of web host but the rates that they offer seem a little expensive. How much should I actually have to spend on a web host and a domain name. I want to start advertising on my blog now. Please help !

Don't go for cheap web hosts and domain registrars, it will create more problems in problems. Since you are planning to monetize your the blog , go for a reputed host. eg; Hostgator, bluehost etc. It will not host much more.
