i think it makes sense comparing different blogs from different sections is like comparing oranges and apples... i agree with the format i think its good!

this rank is valid for 1 month, every month our blog may get  better rank or our rank may be descreased. ranking is done only upto1 to  100 in each catagory.

this ranking is combination of  alexa rank,google rank, upcoming links, how much frequency of updation of rank .

most important is if your blog rank is 80 then it is good, more the your rank is more good

like cricket pricipal more runs more credit ,more rank more good ,currently no one has got 100 rank.

i really feel it should be indimark/indiscore or something similar!

but its exactly opposite here!! but may b thats the novelity of indirank!

Not really novelty - look at Google's PageRank. A pagerank of 10 is the highest you can get!

then  blog  B is the  indi blog of the month, he is the winner, blog b is the winner.

so our aim should be to  get the higher rank that is near 80 as no one has got the 100 rank.

Nope- we will use IndiRank to find the best blogs in that category. But we will also choose blogs which have a low rank or not ranked at all, which we believe deserve a chance. This forum will then decide on a winner. So it's a people's choice, really!

Reema, people exchange links and 'help' others gain traffic. Otherwise, of course, such 'blogs' would never have a chance of survival.

Like I said on twitter - sad but true. These kind of blogs do get a lot of traffic. Most of these blogs are rejected by IndiBlogger - this one got in by virtue of original content. Most blogs of this type simply post pics and have titles which are far more... unappetising.

I think such blogs should be removed from Indiblogger....

there are many catagories  may be this blog got rank 70 in entertainment tag label.

indi ranks  are based on tags catagories ,

Just now I edited my blog keywords and I lost my rank :( Its pending approval now! Sigh!

Hey - scroll up a bit, Reema asked the same question about this blog's rank and why it's there in our directory.

As for the badge, I'm guessing any bollwood site gets a lot of traffic from Pakistan - which is why they've also gone and registered with a Pakistani blog directory.
