Q&A

I have recently quit my corporate job and am working on a couple of things.

  1. Book of short stories
  2. Visa on Arrival - its a travel page that I recently created on facebook. Its a platform for me to share my travel experiences and help people plan great holidays. I am hoping that it will also help me get "discovered" by the likes of travel magazines/portals.

I am afraid that this list might be a tad too long!

  • Bill Bryson - love his work, particularly "Neither Here, Nor There".
  • Anything by P.G. Wodehouse, although I am a bit partial to Bertie Wooster
  • City of Djinns - William Dalrymple
  • George Orwell - has to be Animal Farm
  • To Kill a Mocking Bird - Harper Lee
  • My childhood favourites - Enid Blyton and Jane Austen
  • Jhumpa Lahiri, Michael Lewis, Jim Rogers
  • Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella - my ultimate comfort read
As a blogger, I write only for myself. My thoughts are more scattered which might or might not come together to form a shape. As a published author, I write keeping in mind the reader. My thoughts are more focused and my writing crispier. My imagination is way more defined.
