Q&A

I practice ashtanga yoga and run a yoga studio.
A few of my short stories have been published in online magazines.
My focus at the moment is on learning as much as I can. And that's why I'm currently reading and writing whatever and whenever I can without any concrete plans to guide or restrict me.
The list is long, but Ruskin Bond is my all-time favorite. I also love Alice Munroe. And I like rereading Anton Chekhov's stories.
I feel that there is a huge difference between being a blogger and a published author. Personally, I started my blog as a diary. You know, a public diary where I wrote whatever the hell I wanted to without really bothering about anything, say, editing or SEO. I wasn't really blogging for anything or anyone except maybe for myself and a few close friends. I still publish a thing or two in my personal blog whenever I feel like. I did not intend to do it in any other way. On the other hand, being "a published author" or rather "wanting to be one" is a different ball game altogether. One needs to do some serious writing here. And then submit away, while bracing oneself for rejections before actually getting published.
